"....the center of global terrorism is not in Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan or the Chechen Republic. The terrorist infection is spread worldwide from Lubyanka Square and the Kremlin cabinet. And until the Russian special services are outlawed, dispersed and condemned, the terrorism will never stop: bombs will blow up and blood will be shed. Terrorism has no expiration date.... I would like to repeat, that all the terrorists, whom I have named, were supported by the heads of the Soviet and Russian special services - Yuri Andropov, Vladimir Putin, Nikolay Patrushev and others. These people are the main terrorists.... And until we condemn them ... global terrorism will continue." |
INITIAL REPORT: 60 MINUTES & THE SECOND ASSASSINATION OF ALEXANDER LITVINENKO
According to the Drudge Report, 60 Minutes will air a story tomorrow that might prove to be a character assassination attempt on Alexander Litvinenko. Specifically, the program will carry an interview with Julia Svetlichnaja, a known Kremlin hack (also see this article).
I was in touch with Litvinenko for several months before he went into hiding about a year before he was assassinated. My Litvinenko Chronicles were postings of the emails I received from him.
Alexander gave his life battling for the truth against the greatest enemies of human rights and freedom, i.e., Russia's intelligence services. As highlighted in Alexander Litvinenko's book, "Blowing Up Russia: Terror From Within", which is banned in Russia, the "former" KGB carried out a silent coup over the last 20 years and now is in control of Russia, including its massive nuclear arsenal. I believe there is no greater threat facing the world right now.
What's more, Moscow is engaging in "Grey Terror" against the West, including 9/11, using Islamic extremist networks like al Qaeda as a cover, a point Litvinenko helped to expose by revealing that Ayman al Zawahiri, al Qaeda's operational leader and Osama bin Laden's right-hand man, was trained by the KGB.
So how does the leftstream media handle his story? Rather than help to uncover the truth about his murder, they serve the Kremlin by helping to cover up Putin's guilt.
As 60 Minutes will seek to report, it wasn't Putin and his cohorts behind the murder of a defector revealing highly guarded Russian state secrets, it was some mysterious, unknown Russian businessman....because that's what is claimed by a self-described associate of Litvinenko who is a known Kremlin hack (also see this article). Not that the use of an ultra-rare radioactive element in the assassination, which could only be produced by a nuclear state, should tell us anything. Nor should we be misled by how traces of that rare radioactive substance were found in a Hamburg apartment visited by a known FSB operative, Dimitry Kovtun, PRIOR to the operative's fateful meeting with Alexander Litvinenko in London on November 1st of last year.
No, the facts of the case should not mislead us from the lies we will now be told by 60 Minutes and the like about Alexander Litvinenko's murder which clear the Kremlin of blame.

""The process of falsification and fictionalization now appends to Litvinenko's death. Stories are propelled into the media casting doubt on Litvinenko's credibility. Some have suggested he was working with al Qaeda. Others suggest he was directly involved with Islamic nuclear weapons (thus his death by radiation poisoning). But why would Litvinenko work for the destruction of the West when he so clearly, so desperately, struggled to find the means to warn the West about the KGB? And then, it was Litvinenko who claimed that al Qaeda's No. 2 man, Ayman al-Zawahiri, was a long-time KGB agent. If they made a movie about Angleton, perhaps they will make a movie about Litvinenko. And then the poor man will be buried twice; once, in the normal manner, and again under a mountain of lies." - J.R. Nyquist |

"I would like to thank many people. My doctors, nurses and hospital staff who are doing all they can for me, the British police who are pursuing my case with vigour and professionalism and are watching over me and my family. I would like to thank the British government for taking me under their care. I am honoured to be a British citizen. I thank my wife Marina, who has stood by me. My love for her and our son knows no bounds. But as I lie here I can distinctly hear the beating of wings of the angel of death. I may be able to give him the slip but I have to say my legs do not run as fast as I would like. I think, therefore, that this may be the time to say one or two things to the person responsible for my present condition. You may succeed in silencing me but that silence comes at a price. You have shown yourself to be as barbaric and ruthless as your most hostile critics have claimed. You have shown yourself to have no respect for life, liberty or any civilised value. You have shown yourself to be unworthy of your office, to be unworthy of the trust of civilised men and women. You may succeed in silencing one man but the howl of protest from around the world will reverberate, Mr Putin, in your ears for the rest of your life. May God forgive you for what you have done, not only to me but to beloved Russia and its people." - Alexander Litvinenko |
