Yesterday the world witnessed the tragic breakup of the Space Shuttle Columbia during its reentry into the earth's atmosphere over Texas. All seven of her crew perished in the disaster.
Today at Sunday worship services across the nation Americans mourned the terrible event yesterday. But in turning to God, are Americans truly ready to listen to Him?
There are some striking
'coincidences' surrounding the Columbia disaster that suggest God was conveying
a final warning to America of the ultimate consequences of attacking Iraq in
an effort to eliminate Saddam's weapons of mass destruction. As
I foresaw 12 years ago and have been persistently warning the world about ever
since, striking Iraq will bring about Saddam's
Revenge in the form of a nuclear third world war and the utter destruction
of Israel and the United States of America.
After
the Shuttle Columbia broke apart, its wreckage rained down across a path from
central Texas into Louisiana, including the city of 'Palestine' as identified
in the MSNBC map to the left and USA Today map to the right.
Amongst the seven crew members
lost was the first Israeli astronaut to enter outer space, Ilan Ramone. As a
fighter pilot in 1981, Ilan was the youngest pilot in a team of eight planes
that bombed the Osirak reactor in Iraq in a then internationally condemned move
by Israel to stop short Saddam Hussein's nuclear ambitions.
As overviewed on NASA's
background web page for the Columbia, this first space shuttle had special significance.
"Columbia" is considered to be the feminine personification of the
United States. The name is derived from that of another famous explorer, Christopher
Columbus. The first U.S. Navy ship to circle the globe bore the title Columbia,
as did the command module for Apollo 11, the first lunar landing mission. The
Space Shuttle Columbia represented America and our nation's venturing spirit
that has brought forth greatness and dominion over the earth. Her
tragic destruction yesterday is a dire omen for what may soon befall us.
As implied by my vision during the last Gulf War, attacking Iraq at this juncture in order to destroy Saddam's weapons of mass destruction will result in the worldwide use of the very weaponry trying to be stopped. In response to a new American assault, Saddam will order a chemical SCUD missile attack against Israel that, in turn, will ultimately trigger a global nuclear war and the destruction of Israel, America and the Western powers. I believe this may have been symbolized yesterday when the Space Shuttle Columbia, representing America and carrying an Israeli pilot that sought to stop Iraq's nuclear ambitions in the 1981 Osirak air-strike, came crashing to the earth over the city of Palestine in the state of Texas where President George W. Bush is from as well as his father who oversaw the first war against Iraq in 1991. Attacking Iraq again will bring America crashing down.
